On the first day, Eben got a wonder from Mrs. Pritchard. On the second day, he got a wonder from Cully Pone. On the third day, he got a wonder from Calvin Smiley. On the fourth day, he got a wonder from Eulie Rowan. On the fifth day, he got a wonder from Rae Ellen. On the sixth day, he got a wonder from Mayor Peevey. But on the seventh day, he didn’t find anything at all. That was when his father told Eben that he could not go to Colorado because the place where Molly and Eli lived was down with influenza. Eben was heartbroken because he couldn’t go to Colorado! What would happen if Eben couldn’t go? Would Eben still want to find a seventh wonder? Both boys and girls would like this book.
