Gilda Joyce can get into a lot of mischeif. She wants to be a psychic investigator when she grows up. Well, it starts out with Gilda going to her moms 2nd cousins house. He lives in San Francisco while Gilda lives in Michigan. Her mom’s second cousin goes by Mr. Splinter and his daughter’s name is Juliet Splinter. Mr. Splinter’s sister commited suicide and Gilda wants to find out how and why. When she reaches the house, Juliet was rude to Gilda. Juliet becomes nice when she finds out that Gilda is just trying to help. Every night, Gilda and Juliet hear footsteps in the tower. Juliet thought she was just crazy, but then she figures out that Gilda is hearing them, too. The tower has been locked up since Juliet’s aunt commited suicide. This is because the tower is where Juliets aunt did it. This book would be better for girls because at the end of the book, they mention “French kissing.” (EEEEWWWWW!) It also has girly stuff such as shopping and fashion with clothes. It also has some bad words in it. So, except for the bad words, I really recomend it and hope you read it. Enjoy! 🙂
