This is a story about a boy named Percy Jackson. He is about to be kicked out of school because of random attacks from mythological monsters and gods. Someone stole Zeus’s master lightning bolt and of course, Percy was blamed. Now Percy and his friends have to do to three things on his mission. One is to find Zeus’s master lighting bolt. The second is to find the true thief. The third is to join forces with his father who disowned him and solve the riddle of Oracle. It is a awesome adventure book and it is also fun to read. I think it would appeal to boys more than girls.

Wouldn’t it be cool if one of your parents were a greek god, and the other was a mortal. Well to Percy Jackson, it is’nt. Percy is a Half- Blood, whoose one of his parents are a greek god, and the other is a mortal. Lately, Percy has been kicked out of schools, one after another, and has been attacked by mythological creatures. When Zeus’s Master Lighting Bolt is stolen, Percy is the prime suspect. Percy has ten days to find the bolt wtih his friends, before the gods start a “world war III”. I really enjoyed this book, althought some people would read the title, and say “oh it is not funny, its a boy book, blah”, but I think that it is enjoyable to both, boys, and girls. This book, I think is entirely funny.

Do you think there is a way to read The Lightning Thief online? The book i requested from the library has a page torn out and for some reason I’m really paranoid about this so I want to try to read it online cause I don’t want to request another book again.
I liked the part when Poseidon as his son. I also liked it when percy got his celestial bronze sword, Riptide, and when he soaked Clarisse with Bathroom water. Nice Job on the paragraph.

The Lightning Theif is awesome! My favorite part is when Percy gives Medusa’s head to his mom and his mom turns “Smelly Gabe” to Stone.
This book ROX!!! I agree with Puck(jacob), when he turns to stone is a good part. the movie was sketchy. bad. but ok. 😀 READ THIS BOOK!! IT WILL CHANGE UR LIFE!!!
This is a REALLY good book!!! I have read it 20 times over. My favorite part was when Percy had to fight the Minotaur. IT ROCKED!!!!! Anyway, the movie was Really good. but i think they forgot some key points, like ARES!!! what happend to him? he never showed up. neither did Clarisse. and they never even talked about Thalia’s Pine. But other than that, it was a good movie. 😀
This book is totally awesome! I have read it 46 times now! My favorite part was when Percy fought Ares. I like that the book has action and humor.
