Utterly Me, Clarice Bean-Lauren Claire

Mischeivious, troublesome, and hilarious – that’s what you get from the main character, Clarice Bean, in the book Utterly Me, Clarice Bean? Utterly Me, Clarice Bean is about a girl named Clarice Bean who gets into a lot of mischeif. Clarice has a hard time paying attention during school when her teacher is talking. Clarice has a project going on. There is going to be an exhibit. Clarice has to group up with a partner and choose a book that teaches you something. She chooses to do it with her friend, Betty Moody, and she decides to do the book series, Ruby Redfort. The only problem is, what us learned from the series? Clarice says you learn how to find mysteries, so Mrs. Wilberton says, “Sure.” The next few weeks Betty doesn’t come to school so Clarice has to do it with a boy, Karl. Also, the prize, a trophy gets stolen. I think this book would be better for girls and it’s a fast read. If you want to know what happened to Betty Moody, and if Clarice can get through her project, read Utterly Me, Clarice Bean.
