Have you been looking for that perfect book? Well, do I have one for you! It’s called Ginger Pye. It’s about a boy named Jerry, his sister, Rachel, their dog Ginger, and their three year old uncle, Uncle Bennie. They are on a hunt to find their dog. It started during Thanksgiving dinner when the Pye’s let Ginger out into the backyard. Once they finished dinner, they were going to let Ginger back in the house, but when Jerry went out, nobody was there. The only clue they had was a yellow hat they kept finding. They found the hat on their porch. They also found it when it blew into the lake when they were swimming. I think this book would be good for both boys and girls. If you like dogs, than I really recomend it. This book is realistic fiction because getting a dog stolen from you could happen in real life. Well there you go! A book you might be looking for. You may really like it!
