This book is full of humor and action. The main character is Mora, her best friend is Steven. In this book Mora tries to prove that if you get bad grades that does not mean that you are dumb. Mora fails on her report card and her parents get very mad. But, that does not stop Mora from trying. I really enjoyed this book. I think that people who have the same feelings as Mora should read this book.

I agree with you Miranda! This book is great! It has humor, action, and my favorite flashbacks! Nora is a great character shes funny and she’s really smart. So she got a few D’s and one C, but that doesn’t mean that she is dumb. I think that this book is great for girls and boys. To me this book teaches you to move on, you get one F so fix it and move on. Nora is actually really smart but how is she smart read this book The Report Card by: Andrew Clements.
The main character is Nora, she lives in the modern time and Nora has bad grades and she has a whole group of adults thinking about Nora’s grades. I agree with everything you said Maranda and Jordan. This book is funny and has a lot of adult arguing action. Nora is really smart, but not book smart. I really agree with Jordan that the lesson in this book is that if you get and F or a D, don’t stress about too much and learn from your mistakes and move on. I think this book will appeal to boys and girls. The vocabulary is not that hard and this may take you 5 or 6 days to read. I also think that the lesson is that grades are important, but don’t always be studying just live a little and have some fun. I really recommend this book to whoever really cares about there grades.
