This is the first in the Pendragon series and is exciting from the first few pages.  It is about a boy named Bobby Pendragon who thinks he is a normal 14 year old boy until he discovers that he is actually a traveler.  A traveler is one who goes from world to world trying to save the civilization from Saint Dane – an evil character.  He travels to Denduron and encounters squigs, battles and Saint Dane himself.  It is a very exciting book that has nonstop action.  Students of all ages would like this book, but I would have to rate it PG.
