I am special because I have a loving family.
I wonder if I am going to be a great soccer player like my
brother.
I can see anything my parents see but that is only sometimes.
I wish my family will never age.
I am special because I have a loving family.
I pretend to do something to trick my brother.
I feel happy when I go to my uncle’s house because we can all play with each other.
I touch an controller.
I worry for my brother.
I cried when my grandma died.
I am special because I have loving family.
I understand something when my mom and dad tell me not to do something.
I say, “Mom and Dad, can you help me with my homework?”
I dream I will never age.
I try to work hard on my homework.
I hope I can get all A’s this year.
I am special because I have a loving family.
I also hope to be as good as my brother while playing soccer. How old is your brother? My brother is 14.

Hi Jarrelle,
This is a very special poem. I like it very much. Aging isn’t all that bad as it lets you do different things that you can’t do at certain ages. It would be boring to stay the same age forever. I also think our planet would be in trouble if everyone stayed the same age. Do you like writing poems?
Thanks for writing this post,
Cheers from Mrs A
Dear Jarrell,
I really enjoyed reading your poem! It’s so nice that you appreciate that your family, and think that they make you special. I also hope to get all A’s this year too!
