The Sun

The Sun was formed 4.5 billions years ago. In the Milky Way galaxy Orion spur. It was formed when a cloud of dust and gas or Solar Nebula collapsed. Then it turned a burning ball of gas or star. That’s how the sun was formed. The Sun has a hot fiery nature, a super strong gravity pull, and huge magnetic field. The sun can be divided into six layers. First the Corona, Second the Chromosome, third the Photo sphere, fourth the Convective zone, fifth Radioactive zone, and sixth and last the Core. The core is the hottest layer of the  sun.Since the sun is so hot, the atoms stay in gas like form called plasma. We’re lucky because the gravity pull of the sun is so strong, the heat doesn’t come hurtling towards us. It’s also used to hold the solar system in place due to its size. It’s tho radically fit the 8 planets 600 times. The sun’s gravity is so strong with its mass it can store 8 planets, dozens of dwarfs planets, 170 moons, and a lot of comets and asteroids.

    Dear Ian,
This is a great article! It taught me a lot of things I didn’t know like how the sun was formed 4.5 billion years ago when cloud of dust/gas and a solar nebula collapsed. Also, I didn’t know that the sun could be divided into 6 layers. I thought it would interesting to add something about how the sun will die in about 5 billion years destroying all life on Earth. Great job on this article!
    Sincerely,

    Sawyer

    Hello Ian–

I never thought about the gravity pull of the sun holding back its enormous heat. Wow! I appreciate your informative post 🙂

You’ve chosen an excellent photo to illustrate your information.
