A picture is divided into 9 sections and the subject is lined up with along the lines that separate the sections.
Place an object following the Rule of Thirds and fill the blank area to balance out the picture.
Have lines in your picture which will pull your audience’s eyes into the “journey.”
Have symmetry and patterns as well as objects that “break” it, creating tension and a focal point.
Consider taking your photo from a different angle or height.
Have a background which does not distract from the subject.
Create depth by having a foreground, middle ground, and background.
Have objects around your focal point which can help focus the subject.
Crop out “noisy” backgrounds which can distract from the main subject.
Try new ideas, you can always delete the ones that don’t work.
