Photo Composition (Rule of Thirds, Diagonal, Leading Lines, Frame)
Photographer Research: Nicole Stich
Nicole Stich is a modern culinary photographer. Before photography, Nicole Stich used to be a web designer, which was one of her favorite things to do, but she found to love culinary arts even more. She is able to make a living on her food photography, food-writing, and restaurant consulting. Nicole Stich launcher her own website, Delicious Days, in 2005. She now continues to take pitcures with her co-photographer, Oliver, a culinary artist.
For ideas, I consiered all kinds of different foods, like ice cream, spaghetti, dumplings, fruit snacks, brownies, chips, and much more. I have not decided on what food to do for the studio pictures.
The Rule of Thirds
The rule of thirds is the basic principal of photography, in which one divides a picture into a grid of nine. Emphasis of the photo should be located on either the left 3 grids, the middle 3 grids, or the right three grids.
