Samples:
My idea: I wanted to copy some of the ideas he did with the sweets. For example, I was going to use oreos and chocolate chip cookies for my project. I want to replicate the picture of the oreo with the crums all around it, but I will add more cookies into the picture.
Rule of Thirds:
The rule of thirds states that the human eye is natually drawn to a point two-thirds up the page. The main focal points and subjects are placed in an intersection of the thirds. Landscapes are examples of pictures that use the rule of thirds.
Diagonal Rule:
One side of the picture is divided into two parts. Then each half is divided into thirds. The diagonal rule helps make pictures look more dynamic.
Leading Lines:
Leading lines are used to draw the eye to a focal point and through the picture. These lines are used to create a narrative of the compostion.
Frame Within a Frame:
Frame within in a frame make the viewer look far and wide. The frame within the frame focuses on the main point of the picture.
My nightmare consists of ghosts, night time, robots and black widows. I freak out when I am alone in the dark. I always think something is going to pop out and get me. I think robots will eventually overtake society. I don’t really believe in ghosts, but sometimes there are creepy things that happen and you just can’t explain.
My color was red! There were a lot of red stuff in my house. So it was pretty easy to find red things to take pictures of. Most of the red stuff in my house came from Christmas decorations that were up. The collage didn’t take very long to make at all it was just figuring out how to piece them together in a certain porportion.
This assignment was fun to shoot. I like my stop action picture the best out of these three. I was able to get my pan blur the first picture I took. The lighting outside was also really good so it just helps make the picture look awesome. The blur was really simple, all you had to do was move the camera around. I really like doing pan blur and stop action photos the best ! (:
