Montage: Montage is a collection of whole or partial images which all together compose a same, single image.

David Hockney: David Hockney is an English painter, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer who was an important contributor to the Pop Art movement in the 1960’s.

Cubism:

Pablo Picasso is a well known cubist artist; cubism is an art form wherein defined shapes with sharp angles are the primary focus. Photomontage is similar to cubism because each individual photo that makes up the montage are defined shapes with sharp angles.

photographed using different f stop levels which control the amount of focus and blur in the picture. I learned that the fstop can be adjusted to differ the blur of the pictures.

Expressive Portraits:

Expressive portraits captures and reveals a person’s personality. Often expressed through lighting, props, movement, and colors.

Artist inspiration: Frida Kahlo

I do not like how this came out. It looks very incomplete. This reflects the artist I read about because Frida Kahlo often painted surreal self portraits and I attempted to do the same. If I were to redo this I would retake the original picture with a better background.
