The remake of a painting was fun because I felt that with this assignment you could be a bit silly with it. It came out well.

How I Start My Morning
Fantasyland
At first I did not know what I wanted to do for my fantasyland. So I decided to combine some of my favorite things; basketball, french fries, and drumstick ice creams. The clouds were put there because since it is my fantasy land it is supposed to be peaceful like clouds. I left the black part at the bottom to show that even in fantasyland bad things can happen.
Diptych
Diptych photography is photography that uses two different or identical images side by side to form one single artistic statement. I really liked how my in class diptych turned out. I like the colors.
Studio
I did my studio photography based on Chris Shepard, a wedding and portrait photographer. His favorite color is red, and is an Apple product user. Chris loves tea, bourbon and beer, and is a dog and cat person. Shepard enjoys making win, and loves pizza. Wouldn’t trade wedding photography for anything in the world. I wanted to re create his wedding photos, so I tried portraying love in my pictures. I think they came out well.
Cindy Sherman
Cindy Sherman is an American photographer who lives in New York and is vert well known for the conceptual portraits she takes of herself. Cindy really focused on raising challenging questions and the part that women play in the American culture. Sherman enjoys working alone and loves to play the roles of different characters like clown, valley girl, etc. When I researched on Cindy Sherman I really wanted to do something bold, so I decided to be a female. Instead of just putting on a girly t-shirt and wear a hair tie, I wanted to be a bit bold so I decided to wear a dress to really emphasize what I was trying to portray. It was a fun experience. The dress was a bit uncomfortable but I got used to it. It was difficult to act or pose like a girl because you dont want to be cliche. Overall I enjoyed the Cindy Sherman experience.
