Barbara Krueger’s artwork revolves around a social issue and typically depicts a black and white photograph accompanied by red and white wording to get the message across. For my social issue, I used texting and driving because I feel that it is an important thing to bring up. Many people die due to car accidents resulting from a texting driver. In fact, 11 teens per day die due to this. Thus, it is a significant issue that can easily be stopped if only people would stop texting while driving and stayed focused on the road.
