New Year is coming up soon and it will be 2014! New Years is also a fun holiday to spend with families. On New Years all my family gathers and celebrates the holiday. My family dance and eats all kinds of foods on New Years. All my family waits till it’s 12:00 because that’s when it’s 2014! On New Years I get to see all my cousins, aunts, and uncles. My plans for 2014 is to go visit my family at Mexico. I’m also planning to got to middle school and graduating from elementary school. My goal for this New Year are to graduate and to be ready to go to middle school. Another goal that I have for this year is to have really good grades and to be better at math and other subjects. Christmas is almost here! I’m so exicted  that Christmas is coming up because it my favorite holiday of the year. Also around Chritmas week you get to put up your Christmas tree and the decorections. My family also makes all kinds of food and desserts for Christmas. Another part, I like about Christmas is that I get lots of presents. What I like most about Christmas is that I get to be with family, laugh, and becuase my family does fun things on Christmas. I like to decorte the Christmas tree. I think Christmas is a really fun holiday. I like seeing people opening their presents and smiling. This is one of the recipes I do for Christmas. Its called strawberry banana angel torte.

Ingredients;

1 prepared angel food cake ( 8 to 10 ounces)

 1/2 cup of sour cream

                                                                       1/4 cup of sugar

                                                                        1/4 cup pureed fresh strawberries

                                                                         3/4 cup sliced ripe bananas

                                                                          1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries

                                                                           1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped

My second favorite holiday is coming up, Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday because I get to be with my family and its a fun holiday. Also I like Thanksgiving because we get to dress fancy and I get to help make the desserts. I help make cookies, pumpkin pie and other kinds of desserts that taste so delicious. One more week and I’m off to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family! Can’t wait till we get Thanksgiving break because I don’t have to wake up early. On Thanksgiving my family are going to my aunt house to celebrate Thanksgiving. We are going to bring the desserts that day. For this Thanksgiving break I might go to stores to see what they have on specials for black Friday. Also I’m going to Sonoma with my sister to go see with her the Sonoma Sate college. I might do other kinds of things in my Thanksgiving break. What are your plans for Thanksgiving break? I recomend this game called Plants vs. Zombies because it’s a fun and entertaning game to play. I always play Plants vs. Zombies when I’m really bored or I just play it for fun! Plants vs. Zombies is a really common game that lots of people play. You can download this game on your iPod touch, iphone, tablet and other kinds of elctronics. I really like this game, espacially when you can choose any useful thing that can help you for the zombies to not get in the house. The main thing to do in this game is to prevent the zombies coming in the house. The first levels goes easy, then it gets harder. The first few levels when the zombies come to you, theres not really so much zombies coming to you, but suddenly a huge wave of zombies comes towards you. My advice to you, if you want to be really good at playing Plants vs. Zombies is to get the really useful things that will protect the house from the zombies coming in.     My first trimester was great! My goal was to get good grades. To accomplish this goal,  I put all my effort on my work and tried my best, and I did accomplish my goal, because I got good grades. Another goal that I had was to get all my work and homework in. I worked hard to have all my work ready in time to accomplish this goal and I did it I never missed an assignment and I always turned my work on time. Another goal I had was to improve on my reading and comprehension to make this goal happen I been reading 3o minutes or more everyday after I finish my homework. What I use for my reading is my story of the week from the Open Court Reading textbook, and I also read to be prepared for my test. Adding to this, one more of my goals was to make sure that I read the pages that were necessary for me to get a good grade in my reading log. All I wanted was to make sure that by the time my reading log was due I had 200 pages done, so I would of been sure that I was going to get a good grade on my reading log. Next trimester I’m going to do my best like always and do all my work and homework so I can get good grades. I can’t wait for second trimester! My favoirte fruit is guavas. I like guallavas because guavas taste very good and sweet. Guava is a fruit that has a rich nutrition. This fruit is very popular in Mexico and everywhere. Guavas contains several vitamins that are good for your body. Guavas are low in calories. So its very healthy for you. One important thing, about guavas is this fruit helps you prevent cancer, anti-aging, and immune-booster. Guavas has vitamin C and vitamin -A which is good for your body. Another thing, that is good about guavas is that 100 g of pink guava fruit provides 5204 of lycopene, is nearly  twice the amount that is in tomatoes!. I would like to go to New York City. I think New York is the best place to go, especially if you want to go to a place where its beautiful and fancy.I heard that New York is a fun city to spend your vaction there. In New York they have so many fun things to do that I will like to do. In New York they have the best Bowling Allleys. Also in New York they have the best ice skating place in New York City ,too. Mobile Dairy Classroom was great and fun. The cow that we saw was very big. I learned a lot about this big cow.There was a lady there that teach us some very intersting facts about the big cow.This cow is a girl and she is three years old. The lady told us many facts that I didnt know. One of the facts that the lady told us was that cows have one big stomach. Also a cow has twenty-six ribs in total. In each side there is 13 ribs. All cows have big long tungs. All cows give us milk tfor us to drink. We can use the milk that comes from the cow to make many foods like cheese, cream cheese, cottage cheese and many other foods. To learn about cows is very intersting. There are many things to learn about cows.  

      Instructions not Included is my second favorite movie. Instructions not Included is my second favorite movie because its a really funny movie. This movie has sad and funny parts. The first time I saw this movie I was so into it.The person who made the movie is the father of the Maggie, the liitle girl.he made movie! His name is Eugenio Derdez. I was really surprised. You know that the man who made the movie helped the people in Mexico who suffred a very heavy hurricane? Lots  of people lost their homes. 🙁 So all the money that the people bought for the tickets was sent to the people in Mexico. I loved this movie. I recommend you see this movie. My favorite actrist is Kristen Stewart. Kirsten Stewart is my favorite actrist because I love how she acts  . One of my favorite movies she made is Twilight Part 2. It was the best movie ever. My sister and I loved the movie  when we went to the theaters.
