I’m a junior in high school.

On August 15, 2013 I entered middle school. Like most people would be, I was extremely nervous. I was going to a middle school where I didn’t have many people that I knew going. I also didn’t know how the school looked like until the day before school started. So, as you could tell I had many reasons to be nervous for. I was so nervous that I even cried a little in the morning before I went to school but, I actually made it through the day without a map, without being late to any of my classes, and especially not having to eat lunch alone.

Advice..

1. Before entering middle school or just any new school in general, get to know the school. If you don’t know the school or where each building is, make sure you have a map. I realized that I had one in my agenda all along.

2. Make a friend or have a friend at the middle school. Making a friend may be hard for people who are shy but it really does help. Your new friend/friend can help you make it through the first day of middle school, or even the school year. I made a friend with someone who I had my first period and lunch with.

3. Be yourself. You want to make a good impression at your new school but, that does not mean you should act differently. Being yourself is easier than being something your not. Actually, my first impression on others were not something I was. People thought I was shy, mean, and quiet but, all of those people who had those thoughts are now my best friends.

So I hope these three advice helped you, I wished I had them before I entered middle school.

I will be starting my third term of 7th grade in a few days. So far, everything is going great.  I had straight A’s in the first term and almost straight A’s in the second term. I have made so many new friends in middle school already. I am really enjoying middle school, and it really isn’t that hard honestly. So Happy New Year 🙂

Just remembered I had a blog.. hey.

So right now I am currently on summer break. My summer break is kind of boring and I’m excited about going back to school. In about two weeks I will be starting school as a 7th grader. Middle school will be different than elementary school, I will be having 6 different classes for each subject instead of having one full class. I’m excited about meeting new people and making new friends. Although I am excited about middle school, I miss my 6th grade teacher and class.
