About Youth Art Month
Youth Art Month (YAM) was established in 1961 to direct attention to the value of art education, which develops critical thinking, cultural awareness and expressive skills. The CAEA helps and supports educators by increasing public awareness regarding art education, informing their membership about current issues and recognizing the achievements of art educators and students.
