Elk Grove Unified students took home a total of 15 awards at the 2015 Student Educational Video Awards (SEVAs) on Wednesday, May 6.  EGUSD students captured awards in all categories across all grade levels.

Open to all Sacramento county students (K-20), the contest celebrates the talents and visions of student video producers. Winners and participants are recognized at SECC’s SEVA Award Night and winning videos and producer interviews are shown on cable and online. The SEVAs give students of all ages a chance to share their vision through video or other multimedia about educational topics and issues in their daily lives. The categories include creative expression, documentary, instructional, public service announcement (PSA), and school news.
