Out-of-School Youth Services  – Ages 18-24

We assist youth with education attainment and workforce development preparation including:

  • Access to High School Diploma and High School Equivalency classes
  • Paid or unpaid work experience
  • Job search services
  • Access to employment and training resources
  • Opportunities to acquire leadership skills and participate in leadership activities
  • Access to employability skills, interview, resume, and financial literacy workshops
  • Mentoring for academic completion and personal goal attainment
  • Assistance with transportation costs
  • Incentive for program completion
  • GED® and HiSET® test fees covered

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Youth must not be enrolled in high school
  • Must live in Sacramento County
  • Must meet federal income requirements set forth by WIOA eligibility guidelines
  • Males must be registered with selective service (if 17 or older)
  • Must provide right-to-work documentation, (Valid CA ID and Social Security card)
  • Must have a significant barrier to employment. (See Job Developer)
