With the movement towards more inclusive classrooms,
paraeducators provide day-today support for students with
special needs. Paraeducators play a valuable role in meeting student’s needs. The EGACE 72-hour Paraeducator Training program covers:

Prerequisites and Requirements:
• Must attend an orientation and testing appointment.  Appointments for Fall 2022 classes will be available starting July 5, 2022
• Call (916) 793-2282 to make an appointment or register online starting July 5th.
• Must score a minimum of 236 on C-level CASAS reading
test to enter the training.
This class is supported by CAEP (California Adult Education
Program) funds.
