  1.      The Stamp Act, Townshend Act, and Coercive Acts pays for different things. Like the Stamp Act pays for newspapers, legal documents, and cards while the Townshend Acts pays for glass, tea, paint, and paper. Coercive Acts has to obey laws and is forced to do many things. One of the acts that i would choose is the Stamp Act because unlike the other two choices, they can’t protest or else the soliders would beat them up but everytime the Stamp Act protests, the soliders sometimes do something about it.

  2. The Coercive Act is different from the other acts because in the Coercive Act colonists are forced to obey the laws. I would rather choose The Tea Act, because I would not want to be forced to obey laws and would not want to be taxed for card games, and things like that.

  3. The tax that I would endure would be the Stamp Act because of these reasons . One reason was because I think it is fair to pay taxes on papper , legal documents , and card games . The second reason was because once you pay your taxes on your item the British won’t bother you any more. And those are the reasons I would endure the Stamp Act the most.

  4. Why were the Stamp Act, the Townshend Act, & the Tea Act different from the Coercive Act? Breifly describe each tax. Which would you rather have? Why?
The Stamp Act, the Townshend Act, & the Tea Act is different because they all have to do with the King wanting money. The Coercive Act has to do with the King punishing the colonists for dumping all the tea.
The Stamp Act is a tax on newspaper, legal documents, & playing cards. The colonists would have to a special stamp to show that you paid for the tax. The Townshend Act is a tax on imporatated glass, tea, paint, & paper. They would send out tax collectors to see if they paid the tax. The Tea Act is a tax on tea. Since, all they drank was tea, King George put a tax on tea.
I would rather have the Tea Act because I think you could drink something else than tea and not get taxed because the tax was ONLY on tea.

  5. Why are the Stamp Act, teh Townshend Act, adn the Tea Act different from the Coercive Acts?

The tax I would not endure would be the The Townsend Act and the Coerive Act . The Townsend Act you would have to pay tax on glass , tea , paint , paint , and papper. What I think is the worst is the Coercive acts because people were coercived or forced to obey the laws.

  8. The Stamp Act, Townshend Act, Tea act and the Coercive act are different from each other. The Stamp act put a tax on legal documents, playing cards, and more. I twas made because England needed money. The Townshend act put taxes on imports such like glass and paint. The Tea act put taxes on tea, and everyone drank tea. The Coercive act was made to punish Boston. They had to take care of the soldiers. I would rather have the tea act because it is just a tax on tea and not imports. I could even grow my own tea. That’s why I would rather endure the tea act.

I liked the Tea act because you are only paying the tax on one thing. It’s better to pay the tax on one thing than to pay the tax on six things.
