Here is a look at what we are doing in class this week:

Math – We are practicing multiplication facts as well as subtraction with zeros and division.  Students will be solving performance task problems.

Science – We are learning about how long humans and animals can survive in space.

Grammar – We will be learning about pronouns.  We will also be practicing the four types of sentences: declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory.  In addition, we will be reviewing the rules for when to use periods and for how to use apostrophes correctly.

Social  Studies – Students are finishing their national and local symbols packet.  They are also taking a test on these symbols.

Writing – Students are completing their narratives.  We will be doing some impromptu writing to review skills we have learned this year as well.
