On 12/4/15 the adult league all star game was played in Davis.
The coach gives the team one final pep talk before the game begins. He reminds them that this is what they worked so hard to get the recognition they deserved. The team breaks and takes the field as the game begins.
Starting pitcher Matthew Dunbar takes the mound for the first inning of what would end up being a complete game shutout. He gets himself ready for the first batter as he steps in and walks right out in 3 pitches.
Later, during a 0-0 tie in the 4th inning, Matthew Dunbar awaits an at bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd. He tips his helmet to the camera as he steps into the box before he hits a go ahead triple and the AL all stars take a 2-0 lead. That they will keep.
After the game, the winning all stars take a celebratory picture. The game finished with a final score of 7-0 behind Dunbar’s strong pitching and a 3 run home run by Cody Johnson with Dunbar taking home MVP honors.
