Class Update

Chapter 6 math test will be on Thursday.
I am grateful to have such amazing children to teach everyday. I am a very lucky lady. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Class Up Date

The Save Around coupon books have been passed out to students that would like to sell them. A notice went home to everyone in the class. Keep in mind each coupon book sells for $25. $12.50 of the sale goes directly to your child’s Alliance trip. At this time only 13 students have elected to sell the books.
We are taking a break from Wonders and will be reading a novel for the next few weeks

Thank you to all the families that donated to our APEX fundraiser.
If you have any empty egg cartons at home and have no need for them, we sure could use them in class. I use them for paint holders during art projects.
Chapter 2 Social studies test will be next week.
The Egyptian Artifacts on-site field trip should take place on Friday, although we may need to reschedule it for the next week.
I have sent home two notices requesting money for an Ancient Artifact presentation on Egypt and a not refundable $50 deposit for Alliance Redwoods. The money for Alliance Redwoods needs to be either cash or money order. I realize that this is not as convenient as a check but this helps resolve the issue of our school dealing with issues of bounced checks (which happens more than you would think). I will be sending home receipts for your records after I have received money for Alliance Redwoods.
