As many of you know by now school libraries in California are becoming an endangered species.  And when I speak about school libraries, I am speaking about fully-staffed libraries that have a credentialed teacher librarian and a library technician to support staff and students. Dr. Joyce Valenza, my idol, has created a powerful slide show that speaks to the school library as a core of the school in providing educational equity to our students.
