Junior (Arnold Spirit) lives on the Spokane Indian Reservation in Washington. Junior was born with “water on the brain” or too much cerebral spinal fluid inside his skull. This has made him different and because of this difference, Junior is regularly picked on by others on the reservation. But Junior is really smart and when he decides to go to school in town (off the reservation), he finds he faces prejudices from the whites and his own tribe. Junior has a wonderful sense of humor and a unique outlook on life. This book will make you laugh out loud and bring tears to your eyes, as you follow Junior on his path as a part-time Indian.
