One holiday I like is Chinese New Year. Although, I do not celebrate Chinese New Year, I find it very intriguing. One reason I find it intriguing is because of the festivals, which one I find vast is the Lantern Festival. The Lantern Festival is a time for families, where on New Year’s Eve there is a reunion dinner. In Ancient China women were not allowed to walk freely, but on this bright night they were allowed anywhere. Another reason I find Chinese New Year beguiling is because of the activities such as lion dancing, lantern lighting and dragon symbolism. This is why I find Chinese New Year enthralling!
