3rd Grade Enrichment Activities

*The following letter will also be mailed out via Synergy to make sure it reaches as many parents as possible.

Dear 3rd Grade Families,

We hope that everyone is safe at home with their families. Mrs. Rolle has reached out to families and will be providing Homework Packets to be picked up later this week.  We hope all who need to are taking advantage of our drive thru meals that can be picked up between the hours of 11:00 and 1:00 each day. During this unexpected and mandated time-off, we wanted to make sure we were reaching out to our families to let you know of optional activities your child can complete so they can keep on their skills.

It would be great if you can get your child on a schedule so they have a daily routine to follow if he/she is currently on-track.  Our team is proposing the following:

8-9  Breakfast. Time to change out of those PJ’s!

9-9:30  Math

9:30-10 Play Time/P.E.

  • 30 minute of indoor (gonoodle.com) or outdoor play

  • Students can then draw/create a piece of artwork they would like to replicate from the museums or come up with a unique creation of their choosing.

11:30-12 Writing Journal

  • Create a story, play, write a summary of your day, write an extension of your story you read today, etc.  This can be done on paper or in Google Drive. Don’t forget to name your document!

Respectfully,
