This year’s interactive character lessons discuss the important role we each play in the world, staying STRONG as a group, and valuing each other’s differences while also promoting the idea that we’re always stronger together! All students will participate in this leadership program that helps raise funds for their school while promoting leadership, good character, and fitness. This exciting journey will teach them what it truly means to be strong as a team. During the program, students are challenged to get pledges for the laps they will run for their track’s run day. This is our school’s MAIN FUNDRAISER for the SCHOOL YEAR and helps us fund all of the things PFO supports including field trips, assemblies, music, technology, classroom supplies, accelerated reader, equipment, carnival, folders, planners, achievement tags, etc. A portion of the proceeds will also go directly to your child’s teacher. This year, if your child raises $100 in APEX pledges, your family will become a Sunrise PFO Member which includes FREE BENEFITS throughout the school year (such as free admission, treats, and discounts, etc.).
