National Hispanic Heritage Month

Elk Grove Unified School District proudly recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15, 2021). Our EGUSD family celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Similar to other states, in California alone, Latinos make up the largest ethnic group, so there are plenty of reasons and ways to celebrate.
