Hello Elk Grove Unified Students, Parents and Staff,

Elk Grove Unified is pleased to announce that we have added three COVID-19 vaccine clinics! These clinics offer only the Pfizer vaccine, now approved for anyone 12 years and older. Please note that anyone 12+ must complete a consent form either online and bring a printed copy with you, or you can complete a consent form on site. For those under 18 years of age, parents/guardians must be present at the appointment.

We were happy to see so many students attend our last clinic, and we’re looking forward to seeing even more. We greatly appreciate everyone’s efforts in helping end the pandemic.

Appointments and opportunities to receive the Pfizer vaccine are becoming widely available with many local providers. Whether you want to get vaccinated because of vulnerable family members, to participate in school activities with ease of mind, or because you just feel it’s the right thing to do, we encourage all students, staff and community members who are eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Getting fully vaccinated as soon as possible can help people avoid quarantining if exposed to COVID-19 unless they become symptomatic and for our graduates, it’s one less thing to worry about before heading off to college.

Note: Until California’s mask mandate is lifted, in EGUSD schools, we will continue to follow our COVID-19 safety protocols of wearing face masks, social distancing and hand washing.

As we learn of more vaccination clinics, we will share the information with you.

Thank you,

EGUSD Communications
