Elk Grove Unified Asks Parents to Voice Their Preference for Sending Their Child Back to School for the 2020-2021 School Year

Parent Input Survey

Yesterday evening, the Elk Grove Unified School District released a districtwide email asking parents to voice their preference for sending their child back to school for the 2020-2021 school year. In its commitment to serve all of the District’s students and families and by taking every step possible to ensure high quality education is balanced with health and safety, District decision makers are reaching out to identify every parent’s preferences for their child(ren) to return to school in order to more effectively deploy plans to reopen schools within the recommended Sacramento County Public Health recommendations.

2020 – 2021 Registration

Dear Prospective Parents,

Currently, all EGUSD facilities are closed until further notice pending national, state and county guidance.  With that being said, we want to welcome our prospective parents and still provide you with a way to register your child for the 20-21 school year.  Please follow the steps below in order to register your child:

1.   Visit our district website for specific information about registration for all students in TK-6th grade.

a.   This link is a general link for ALL enrollment information http://www.egusd.net/enrollment/

b.   Registration packets for students can be downloaded via this link: http://www.egusd.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/EGUSD-Welcome-Packet-K-6-Students-Year-Round.pdf, or the packets can be picked up from the Stone Lake office.

2.   If you are picking up the packet from the office, please call our office at 916-683-4096 to schedule a time to pick up a registration packet to take home and fill out.

3.   If there are any questions while filling out the packet, please call our office.

4.   Once the packet is filled out, please call the office to schedule a time to drop off the registration packet.  Parents may also scan and email documents to the school of enrollment, use US mail, or fax.  Follow this link and email any “Support Staff” http://blogs.egusd.net/stonelake/staff/

5.   Our office staff will review the packet, and if there are any questions that they have, they will contact you.

Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions that you might have, and we look forward to meeting the educational needs of your family.

Respectfully,

Mark Beard, Principal
