So today was another magnificent day.

One group had their challenge hike up to Hill 88; it has great views.  They saw a coyote in the distance.

Two groups went hiking in different directions, but both ended up at Battery Townsend. We were able to see a unique habitat of newts in an old military battery filled with water.  It is one of the only places where newts live in water 100% of their lives.

We had beach time, challenge games, and beautiful views.

One group was privileged to see a dolphin out in the ocean.

Tonight we have our campfire with camp songs and funny skits.

Tomorrow it is supposed to rain, but we all have an indoor program including the microscope lab to investigate plankton.  We’ll be looking for Sponge Bob and his friends!!!

See you all tomorrow!
