What about creating a laminated game sheet, like a scavenger hunt, that tracks how water is cycled in at a local creek or a refuge and donating it to a community organization for other students to use?

I am currently working on a volunteer program for CSD’s Park Maintenance Division specifically for EGUSD students that will kick off within the next month or so. My supervisors and I have identified potential projects in approximately 80% of our 90 parks that I plan to help prioritize and determine the budget allotment for the materials. I will then contact schools to offer these Elk Grove park and trails beautification projects to students for their hours. I have already coordinated and worked on such a project with 39 Franklin HS volunteers. It was a lot of work and I was so impressed I decided to start this program. I have done a lot of volunteering and I had never worked with just HS students. I can’t wait to get this started!!
