The “Careers in Public Service Day” supports the school district’s efforts in preparing students for college, career and life after high school while also providing students with hands-on real-world experiences to best understand what a career in the public sector means. Students will participate in informational interviews with city employees who will also provide the students with a deep-dive of the types of projects that are handled by various city departments.
