The Honor Recognizes the School’s Dedication to High Performance
ELK GROVE, Calif. – October 3, 2019 – The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) salutes the staff and students at Arnold Adreani Elementary School for being nationally recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for 2019. Proud of the school’s accomplishment, school principal Mark Vierra stated, “Our students, staff and families expect outstanding performance and they maintain a laser focus on achieving them. I also couldn’t be more proud of our support systems that help meet the unique needs of every student. The National Blue Ribbon School recognition is a huge honor for our entire Arnold Adreani Elementary community and being the only school in the Sacramento area to receive this recognition renders us speechless.”
In its 37-year history, the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program has awarded more than 9,000 schools. This year, Arnold Adreani Elementary will attend a recognition ceremony along with 312 public and 50 private schools on November 2019 in Washington, D.C.
