Addressing Need for Nurses and SLPs, Leaders from the Elk Grove Education Association and Elk Grove Unified Agree to New and Competitive Salary Schedule
ELK GROVE, Calif. – May 25, 2018 – Leaders from the Elk Grove Education Association (EGEA) and the Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD), in addressing the challenges of attracting certificated school nurses and speech language pathologists (SLPs), announce the agreement of a new and improved competitive salary schedule specifically created for certificated school nurses and SLPs.
Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, David Reilly, noted, “The collaborative approach we took in partnership with EGEA to address the challenge of recruiting school nurses and SLPs demonstrates our collective commitment to innovating workforce planning and talent acquisition.”
The newly minted Salary Schedule #8 is now available online listed under EGEA Certificated and shows that school nurses and SLPs can now earn up to $105,000 per year.
