Football and Soccer Athletes Pen Names for Scholarships
WHAT: Setting their sights on their future, 12 high school football and soccer student-athletes will participate in the Elk Grove Unified School District’s Winter Division I and II NCAA National Letter of Intent signing ceremony for a college scholarship. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in the EGUSD Board Room. These student-athletes will sign letters of intent to attend an array of colleges and universities on college scholarships, in California and across the country. These student-athlete role models demonstrate resolute dedication and determination for all aspiring students.

WHY: EGUSD has thousands of student athletes that participate in athletics each year. Today, we are honoring the athletes that participated in football and soccer. EGUSD is proud to recognize 12 students receiving scholarships as they continue their academic and athletic careers at a Division I or Division II school.
