Coronation to Begin Following a Michael Jackson-Themed Halftime Show

WHAT: Kicking off the homecoming season for the Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD), Florin High School students submitted their ballots and voted for their 2017 king and queen. While students aren’t immediately aware of how powerful and thrilling their votes are, this year’s selected Panther King and Queen will be an inspiration to the whole Sacramento region!

WHERE: Mark Macres Memorial Stadium (north of the Monterey Trail High School campus), 8661 Power Inn Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95624 | Please enter through the “HOME TEAM” Gate.

WHEN: Friday, September 15, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.

WHO: Florin High School student body selects their 2017 Panther king and queen, the high school band will perform a Michael Jackson-themed halftime show.

WHY: Schools across the country come together during this time to celebrate their school’s homecoming week to show spirit, friendly competition and encourage camaraderie. Florin High School students treat homecoming family style and choose two of their peers they feel would best represent them on their Royal Court. This year’s selection of the Panther king and queen may forever make lifelong memories for Florin’s Royal Court, the student body and the Sacramento region!
