WHAT: In honor of Constitution Day 2017 to be recognized by the Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) on September 18, 2017, EGUSD will host a workshop that will focus on the long term impact of the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments to the US Constitution that are collectively referred to as the “Reconstruction Amendments”. Participants will view and discuss portions of the documentary 13th, as well review lesson plans and activities on the Reconstruction Amendments that can be used in the classroom. Pre-registration using the ERO system is required for those employees seeking salary credit. Three hours of salary credit is available for attendees.
