EGUSD Naming Committee Recommended the Names of Robert J. McGarvey for Anatolia II and Zehnder Ranch Elementary School for Laguna Ridge
ELK GROVE, Calif. – February 10, 2017 – The Elk Grove Unified School (EGUSD) District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the recommended names for the District’s two new elementary schools opening this July in accordance with the EGUSD Administrative Regulation 7511 and Board Policy 7511. The 41st elementary school located in the southern Rancho Cordova community known as Anatolia II will be named Robert J. McGarvey Elementary School. The 42nd elementary school located in the City of Elk Grove known as Laguna Ridge North will be named Zehnder Ranch Elementary School.
