Participating Students to Learn About Steps Involved in Writing, Recording and Producing Original Songs and Music Videos During Day-Long Visit
WHAT: The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will visit Franklin High School to showcase the state-of-the-art mobile audio and HD video recording and production facility. During the one-day visit, this opportunity will provide students with an introduction to a mobile production studio as well as learning about the steps involved in recording and producing original musical work.
WHEN: Friday, February 10, 2017; 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Franklin High School Cafeteria, 6400 Whitelock Pkwy, Elk Grove, CA 95757
WHO: Franklin High School’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Media (STEM) Academy and music students will participate in the Lennon Bus throughout the school day.
WHY: In its 20th year, the John Lennon Bus Tour is dedicated to providing future generations with free digital media production workshops. This opportunity supports the career-connected project-based learning programs that Franklin High School and Elk Grove Unified offer to its students.
