Football, Soccer and Water Polo Athletes Pen Names for Scholarships

WHEN: Wednesday, February 1, 2017 beginning promptly at 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
WHAT: The signing for the Division I and Division II NCAA National Letter of Intent for a college scholarship will begin promptly at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in the EGUSD Board Room. These student-athletes will be attending an array of colleges and universities, both here in California and across the country. The students signing letters demonstrate dedication and determination and serve as role models for all students. The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) is proud of their hard work and accomplishments.
WHY: EGUSD has thousands of student athletes that participate in athletics each year. Today, we are honoring the athletes that participated in football, soccer and men’s water polo. EGUSD is proud to recognize a record 20 students receiving scholarships as they continue their academic and athletic careers at a Division I or Division II school.
