Are you interested in getting a taste of the college experience? Academic Talent Search (ATS) offers 4th-9th graders (grade level as of Jan. 1, 2018) exciting summer courses at Sacramento State that you pick for yourself! Choose from classes like creative computing, messy science, law, neuroscience, and many others. At ATS, you can spend your summer doing what you love, taking classes on a University Campus, and making new friends who share your interests and passion for learning!

To enroll in a summer course, students first need to take the ATS qualifying exam. The test helps to determine which courses students are eligible for.  The qualifying exam will be offered at PGES on Monday, January 22nd, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Room 20. The cost is $15 and testing waivers are available for qualified students. (See Mr. Le for more information about waivers.
*ATS Testing forms will be sent home in the Wed. envelopes on January 17th!

Testing forms are due by Friday, January 19th to get an accurate head count for the testing proctor.  The $15 fee is payable the day of the test. You may also send a check in (no cash please) with the application form. There is even an option to have ATS mail a bill to the student’s family if they forget to bring a check.  Extra test applications are available in the office.
