Project: CD Cover
Objective: You will represent represent the story’s theme in a musical album design.
Imagine that you have signed a deal with a big record company to create a soundtrack based on the story “Saint George and the Dragon.” Brainstorm ideas fora CD album cover that will show a memorable image and a back cover that lists 7-10 song titles and the artist. The whole album must communicate the theme or themes of “Saint George and the Dragon.
Criteria:
1. A front cover with the title of our anthology, the author, and a colorful illustrtion tht relates to our story.
2. A back cover that lists 7-0 songs by artists whose work you feel matches the theme(s) of “Saint George and the Dragon.”
3. An interior page tht explains why you chose each song and how it relates to the theme of the book. For example, if we were reading Holes by Louis Sachar, a song title might be “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor. The main character, Stanley, shows courage when he steals the truck, carries Zero up the mountain, and sticks up for himself in the “wreck” room.
