Reading, Writing, and Responding!

Today we had the Sheldon Science students come in and review circuits with us. Most of our classmates easily remembered how to build parallel and series circuits. Try this to make your own electric circuit! Post a comment to let us know what you thought of the students’ presentation, or the circuit website.
We are looking for donations of pencils, tissues, and prize box items as our supplies are running out! If you would like to help us out, please send some in. Thanks!
Parents, feel free to comment on our posts as well! We love to read what you have to say.

Today in class, we learned about our classroom blog. We learned about what a blog is, what a post is, and how to comment on a post. We also discussed Internet safety (see the page on blog rules). Our classmates had the chance to comment on the first question of the week. Read through your classmates comments by clicking on “comments”. Your extra credit question is:
Choose a book that a classmate picked as their favorite book. Tell why you liked that book too. If you have not read any of the books your classmates have read, then tell which book you think you would most like to read and why.

What is your favorite book? Why is it your favorite? Be specific!! Click on comments and add your answer. I have done an example for you to help you out. Remember to use your fake email address, and only your first name and last initial.

I have started a new – FREE! – blog for our class. I will not be updating the old Teacher Web website, but it will be available until the end of the year. I have linked to it on the left hand side of the page. Please take a moment to browse the “pages” that I have created, and comment on the new website below!!
**Note that all comments are moderated and will not show up until they have been approved by me.
