Food Processing Center
Jan 5th
Today we visited the EGUSD Food Processing Center. We learned about http://www.choosemyplate.gov, and created our own balanced meals out of food pictures.
We even toured the food processing center, where we got to stand in a *really* cold freezer (-4!)
Then we taste tested some fish sticks and breakfast quesadillas/burritos.
What a fun day of nutrition education! We continued on later in the day with some important physical education with Mr. Robinson. It was AMAZING!
