All About Me

Hi and welcome! Thanks for visiting my page! I previously taught for 11 years at Tsukamoto Elementary, but I’m starting my 2nd year here at Carroll. I love teaching all the elementary subjects, but I’ll admit that my favorite subjects are math and science.

I live here with my husband and two sons. You might know them!  Sean, my older son, is in fifth grade. Kyle, my younger son, is here in 3rd grade with us. They play for the Jr. Wildcats, so we will keep very busy with football from now until November!

I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your families during the 2011-2012 school year.

    Hi Mrs. McCartney,
My name is Amani. I am looking forward to coming to Carroll Elementary. This is my first year at this school. I am happy that you sent me a card in the mail. That was very nice. Thank you. I will see you on Monday.

Hi Mrs.McCartney! It’s me Christina your last year student in 4th grade! Do you remember me? Your class from last year misses you so much! We all wished you were still at our school! My class will have a subitute on Monday but our teacher doesn’t know who it was going to be yet and we all said can it be Mrs.Mccartney can it be Mrs.Mccartney but then you had to teach that day so you couldn’t be our sub. I’m so glad to get to talk to you again! See you when you come visit our school!

Hi Christina! It’s good to hear from you. Of course I remember you and all of our class from last year. :) I miss you all too! I hope you are having a great time and learning lots of new things in 5th grade. I’m still on A track so it is hard to come and visit when you are at school. I sure would like to visit. Happy New Year!

Is your district using Hooda Math yet? All the math games are completely free and differentiated for all grade levels.

    Cheers,

Hi Farjad! Glad you came back to visit your old third grade class! Thank you for the compliment on the background. I really like this one too. :) There are many places online that you can check out to make your own blog. Have your mom or dad help you Google kids’ blogs, because you will need their permission to set one up. Good luck!
