Holiday Traditions
You will notice that we have more people visiting our blog! Mr. Lund, a teacher in Illinois, left us a comment about our earthquake drill. When I visited his blog, I noticed that they were discussing holiday traditions. I think that is a fun topic, and left a comment there! Do you have any holiday traditions at home that you look forward to? Please tell us about them in the comments!

My favorite tradition is Christmas and my birthday because we get presents. My favorite tradition is also Halloween because we get candy and I love candy. The last tradition I like is my vietnamese New Year which is on January because we get money and we get to go to lots of fun places on that day.

We have a TON of holiday traditions in my family!!! I love them all!!! We each get to put up our own ornaments on the tree and since we get a new one every year, there are quite a few. Christmas Eve we have pizza for dinner. Then we have a little family talent show (everyone performs a talent of some sort) and then act out the first nativity!! We get a new ornament and pj’s every Christmas Eve. Christmas morning we all line up in order (youngest to oldest) and wait in the hall while my dad goes to see the tree first and says “Santa didn’t come this year.” We then go out, see our Santa gifts and then open gifts one person at a time. In the afternoon, it’s my little sister’s b-day so we all go see a movie at the theater together (her choice). I love my family and our traditions!!
